Kim Delaney, an American actor best known for her role as the character Detective Diane Russell on ABC's NYPD Blue series for which she was awarded an Emmy Award. In addition, she was a part of dramas such as All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. Delaney was the only girl from her mom who was a homemaker as well as a an executive in her union, the United Auto Workers. Delaney was a child with 4 brothers.
