These include campaigns in the name of Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma, along with her modeling career, attended an actor's school and started to perform in films. Anushka was the first to be seen as an actor in a film by Shah Rukh Khan opposite Anushka. She took the time to study and was able to not do the test impromptu. After that, she was signed for three movies under the Yash Raj Films banner. She played the young wife of an older man in the movie (the exact same character that Shah Rukh Khan played). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka performed with Shahid Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das as well as Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". The movie got mixed reviews. Anushka was also seen with Ranveer in the film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' in which she played the role of a Punjabi middle-class girl who launched her own venture. The film was an unexpected success and was praised by the critics. Anushka's contract to make three films with Yash Raj Films was completed with the Band Baaja Baraat.
